Great one night stay for myself and sons. Graham the owner was first class and a shining example to many other Highland hotels on how a host should be: friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful.
Found this good and affordable accommodation on our round trip. I have rarely been so positively surprised after a first cautious impression. But Graham is a great person and a brand. Take the opportunity to stay here and see for yourself! :)
This place is the text book example of being made by the staff, in this case the staff, singular, Graham. Look, the Ritz Carlton it isn't, but bleedin heck will you enjoy your stay, the food is fantastic, Graham a legend. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble.

The owners and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make our visit special. The rooms were spotless, tastefully decorated, and offered stunning views of the surrounding hills and loch. Every detail was carefully thought out, from the cozy bedding to the thoughtful amenities. The peace and quiet of the location was exactly what I needed for a relaxing getaway. Breakfast was a real highlight—freshly cooked, generous portions, and locally sourced ingredients. The lounge area was perfect for unwinding in the evening, with a great selection of drinks and a warm atmosphere. The location is ideal for exploring the Ardnamurchan Peninsula, with beautiful walking trails, wildlife, and scenic drives right at your doorstep. I genuinely can’t recommend Ben View Hotel enough. It’s a hidden gem where you’ll feel truly cared for. If you’re visiting the Highlands, this is the place to stay. I’ll definitely be returning!
A lovely little stopover on a family road trip. Simple and cosy. Graeme was helpful with local ideas. Bring your own whisky. And go the smoked salmon scramble!!!
Lovely one-night stay during a bike trip. Graham was so friendly and welcoming - he found a corner in the hallway where we could leave our e-bikes indoors, and offered that we could hang around a bit longer in the morning if we wanted to miss the torrential rain forecast! Nice to have a communal lounge area to read and chat to other guests. The sauna was a nice bonus although we didn't get round to trying it!
We loved it here! Graham is a very hospitable, friendly and funny host. We felt right at home. We watched football together and had a good laugh with him and other guests. If you prefer to hang out by yourself or your own party, there’s enough room to do so. Loch Sunart has a beautiful scenery and is lovely for hiking. Graham can advise you on great paths and hidden gems!
3 of us stayed here on our recent motorcycle tour. What an absolutely brilliant place. Great facilities, even a sauna and hot tub. The owner Graham is a perfect host. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the food at dinner then breakfast was just wonderful. Do not miss the chance to stay here, you'll have a really enjoyable stay.
